What is your background/training?
I graduated from the Health Coach Institute in 2021
I have been a physical therapist for many years graduating in 1988 (yes, that long ago)!
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching allows you to focus on your present and look towards your future. Coaching provides the tools to move forward.
Therapy often has you looking back to your past to facilitate healing.
There is definitely a place for both and at times they can happen concurrently.
What if I don’t end up liking the program?
A prorated refund will be issued.
Why is coaching so expensive?
The term expensive is relative.
You may have gone to college/university – I suspect the tuition was not cheap – yet it is viewed as an investment relative to what you will gain.
It’s the same for coaching – it can be viewed as an investment for what you will gain. What you will gain is determined by what you desire to achieve.
How can coaching help me as a mom of a child with special needs?
Some of the benefits of coaching are gaining clarity, setting and achieving goals, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being.
Is coaching suitable for me if I have limited time due to caregiving responsibilities?
Coaching can be tailored to accommodate busy schedules and address the unique needs and challenges of you as a special needs moms.
Do you have experience working with moms of children with various special needs?
I certainly do! I have coached moms of kids on the spectrum, with ADHD and with complex needs.
I am also a mom to two special needs kids with different need and functional ability.
How do you tailor your coaching to each mom's unique situation and goals?
I use a client-centered approach combined with a goal-oriented approach to empower moms to take control of their lives. I have a strong emphasis on self-care and adapt my coaching to meet individual needs and aspirations.
